He has been even more effective in league play, converting on 54 percent of his shots from long range. If the season ended today, that percentage would rank as the seventh best in the history of the MVC. Earlier this season, the Redbirds clipped the Bulldogs in Des Moines, 69-55, to snap a four-game Drake win streak. However, the Redbirds have fallen on hard times since then in dropping five straight games ahead of Saturday’s contest.  Drake Game Notes The Bulldogs have won four-straight games and five of their six games in February to stand at 21-7 overall and 10-5 in league play after defeating Bradley, 77-68, Tuesday evening. Drake’s 20-win season is the sixth in program history, the first since 2007-08 and second since 1970-71. Additionally, the Bulldogs have secured back-to-back winning MVC seasons for the first time since 1971.last_img
